Tips Merawat Laptop Agar Awet

Berikut beberapa tips sederhana
dalam merawat dan
menghindarkan laptop Anda dari
kerusakan dini sekaligus
menambah umur laptop atau
notebook Anda :

1. Jangan menaruh laptop dekat
minuman
u/ mengurangi kemungkinan
tersenggol atau tindakan
ceroboh lainnya, ketika
menggunakan laptop jgn
menaruhnya di dekat minuman
ataupun segala macam cairan.
jika hal tsb tjd cepat2lah cabut
adaptor & lepaskan baterai,
bongkar laptop lalu diamkan
hingga benar2 kering.

2. Jangan menaruh handphone
dekat dengan laptop
Peralatan elektronik spt HP, TV,
atau speaker aktif mengeluarkan
medan magnet. Medan magnet
ini akan mempengaruhi kerja
komponen laptop terutama
harddisk. untuk melindungi data
yg ada di dlmnya, jgn menaruh
laptop berdekatan dg sumber
medan magnet tsb. seandainya
ingin digunakan sebaiknya hp
diletakkan 15-20 cm dari laptop.

3. jangan menaruh laptop di
tempat yg panas
panas yg berlebihan dapat
merusak komponen laptop.
jangan sekali2 menaruhnya di
tempat yg panas seperti
meninggalkan di mobil dg
tempat parkir yg panas.

4. Jangan menaruh laptop di
permukaan yg terlalu empuk
permukaan yg empuk seperti
batal atau kasur dpt
menghambat udara panas dari
laptop u/ keluar. jika udara panas
ini tdk bisa keluar krn terhambat
atau tertutup kasur, laptop akan
menjadi terlalu panas
(overheating).

5. Jangan menaruh laptop di
lantai
Jika menaruhnya di lantai, selain
cepat kotor oleh debu, resiko
terinjak juga sangat besar. anak
kecil atau binatang peliharaan
anda bisa saja merusak bagian2
tertentu dr laptop.

6. Jangan menaruh benda
apapun di antara keyboard dan
layar laptop
Mulai sekarang, coba hilangkan
kebiasaan meletakkan kertas
atau benda lain di atas keyboard
laptop. krn resiko layar tergores
menjadi besar.

7. Jangan menaruh beban berat
di atas laptop
Menaruh buku yg berat di atas
laptop dapat menyebabkan
kerusakan pada layar LCD secara
permanen. Hindari menaruh
buku atau barang lain yg
memberikan tekanan pd laptop.

8. Jangan membiasakn
membawa/memindahkan laptop
dg kondisi hidup
Mungkin awalnya tdk apa2,
tetapi guncangan akibat terlalu
sering memindahkan laptop dg
kondisi menyala dapat
menyebabkan kerusakan
harddisk. Guncangan membuat
head harddisk memiliki
kemungkinan menggores
cylinder harddisk.

9. Jangan membawa laptop di
dalam tas yg penuh berisi
barang2
Laptop yg terkena tekanan
memperbesar peluang
tergoresnya badan laptop dan
rusaknya layar LCD.

10. Jangan meminjamkan laptop
ke sembarang orang
Laptop sifatnya personal. dg
alasan keamanan data, jangan
meminjamkan laptop ke
sembarang orang.

11. Jangan bongkar laptop tanpa
pengetahuan yg cukup
Jika laptop masih bergaransi
lebih baik dibawa ke tempat
servis resminya.

12. Matikan laptop dengan cara
yg benar

Jangan biasakan mematikan
laptop dg paksa seperti
melepaskan baterai atau
menekan tombol power. Bila hal
ini terjadi bisa sebabkan
kerusakan pd harddisk. Biasakan
mematikan laptop dg shutdown.

13. Bersihkan keyboard secara
berkala
Bersihkan dg rutin dg
menyemprotkan udara di sela-
sela tombol. jangan mengetuk
atau mengguncangkan keyboard
dg keras.

14. Bersihkan layar LCD secara
berkala

Bersihkan LCD dg menggunakan
kain yg dpat dibeli di toko
komputer. lap dg pelan satu arah,
dan lakukan jgn terlalu keras,
jangan menyemprotkan cairan
pembersih langsung pada layar
laptop. jika menggunakan cairan
pembersih usahakan sama
dengan cairan pembersih
kamera digital.

15. Mengantisipasi tersambar
petir

Pada saat banyak petir saat
menggunakan laptop,
waspadalah dg mencabut/
melepas semua yg terhubung dg
laptop. lepas kabel telepon yg
terhubung ke modem saat
berinternet melalui jaringan LAN.

16. Berhati-hatilah pada saat
membuka dan menutup layar
laptop
Antara layar LCD dg badan laptop
terdapat engsel yg berfungsi
agar LCD dpt bergerak bebas
sesuai kemiringan yg kita
inginkan. pada saat membuka
dan menutup LCD, jangan
menghentak terlalu keras yg
dapat menyebabkan engsel
patah.

17. Lepas baterai jika lama tidak
digunakan
Jika berencana menyimpan
laptop dalam jangka waktu lama
sebaiknya lepaskan baterai dari
laptop. hal ini dapat membuat
baterai lebih awet.
